This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Maryland portion of the
Chesapeake Bay, Tidal Potomac River, and I-95 corridor through
central Maryland, northern Virginia, and District of Columbia.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

A Gale Warning is in effect for the waters through late tonight.

A Coastal Flood Warning is in effect for Anne Arundel County
through this evening.

A Wind Advisory is in effect for all areas into tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

There is a slight winter storm threat for Saturday. If this
threat materializes, it may cause travel disruptions.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.

* WHAT...West winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 55 mph.

* WHERE...The District of Columbia, portions of central, north
  central, northeast, northern and southern Maryland, northern,
  northwest and western Virginia and eastern West Virginia.

* WHEN...Until 10 PM EST this evening.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will likely blow down scattered trees
  and power lines. Scattered power outages are possible. Loose
  outdoor objects may be blown away or damaged.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high
profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.
