This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Maryland portion of the
Chesapeake Bay, Tidal Potomac River, and I-95 corridor through
central Maryland, northern Virginia, and District of Columbia.

A Gale Warning is in effect.

Please consult the latest Flood Warnings for ongoing flooding.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

The Gale Warning continues until 11 AM Tuesday.


Spotter activation is not expected at this time.

...The Flood Watch continues for the following rivers in Maryland...

  Potomac River at Little Falls affecting Central and Southeast
  Montgomery and Fairfax Counties.


A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on
current forecasts. You should monitor later forecasts and be alert
for possible flood warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding
should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.

The Flood Watch continues for
  the Potomac River at Little Falls.

* Until further notice.
* At 4:45 PM EST Monday the stage was 7.0 feet, or 3.0 feet below
  flood stage.
* Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
* Flooding is possible.
* Forecast...Flood stage may be reached based on the latest forecast
* Impact...At 9.0 feet, Several trails on both sides of the river
  between Great Falls and the Chain Bridge are flooded and will be
