This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Maryland portion of the
Chesapeake Bay, Tidal Potomac River, and I-95 corridor through
central Maryland, northern Virginia, and District of Columbia.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

A Flash Flood Watch remains in effect for Harford and Cecil
counties through early this afternoon.

Coastal Flood Warnings are in effect for Anne Arundel and St.
Mary`s counties this morning.

A Gale Warning is in effect for the lower tidal Potomac River and
the Chesapeake Bay and adjoining estuaries north of Smith Point
Virginia through noon.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

The National Weather Service in Sterling Virginia has extended the

* Flood Warning for...
  Northwestern Howard County in central Maryland...
  Central Montgomery County in central Maryland...
  Central Fairfax County in northern Virginia...
  The City of Fairfax in northern Virginia...

* Until 245 PM EDT Thursday.

* At 811 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated that between 2 to 4 inches
  of rain has fallen across most of the warned area. The heaviest
  rain has ended, but creeks and streams will continue to rise due
  to excess runoff.

Strathmeade Springs along the Accotink Creek continues to rise above
flood stage, and both Woodburn Road and Prosperity Avenue are
flooded. Difficult Run is also out of its banks and Browns Mill Road
is flooded.
