This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Maryland portion of the
Chesapeake Bay, Tidal Potomac River, and I-95 corridor through
central Maryland, northern Virginia, and District of Columbia.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

A Gale Warning is in effect from noon today through 4 AM Thursday
for the tidal Potomac River from Key Bridge to Smith Point VA, and
the Chesapeake Bay and adjoining estuaries north of Smith Point

A line of heavy showers and isolated thunderstorms will pass
through the area between 3 PM and 8 PM this afternoon and evening.
Locally damaging winds are possible during this time.

A Wind Advisory is in effect from 6 PM this evening to 4 AM
Thursday from the DC Metro to Southern Maryland northward.
Elsewhere, strong to locally damaging winds are possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects.
