North Carolina, central Virginia, east central Virginia, eastern
Virginia, north central Virginia, south central Virginia and
southeast Virginia.

Showers and isolated to scattered thunderstorms are expected by late
tonight. Locally heavy rain is possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Showers and isolated to scattered thunderstorms are expected Friday,
especially in the morning. Locally heavy rain is possible.

...A THUNDERSTORM WITH HEAVY RAIN WILL AFFECT MECKLENBURG...SOUTHERN
LUNENBURG AND WEST CENTRAL BRUNSWICK COUNTIES...

At 1041 PM EDT, a thunderstorm with heavy rain was located 10 miles
north of Henderson, moving northeast at 35 mph.

Wind gusts in excess of 30 mph are also possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
South Hill, Chase City, Brodnax, Clarksville, La Crosse, Boydton,
Kells Corner, Rehoboth, Bacons Fork, Wilburn, Spanish Grove,
Beechwood, Gills Corner, Finchley, Finneywood, Meredithville,
Forksville, Fairview, Plantersville and Rogers Corner.

Motorists should use extra caution in the vicinity of this storm. Be
prepared for rapid changes in weather and road conditions. Heavy rain
could cause ponding of water on roads...and possible minor flooding
of ditches and poor drainage areas.
