...Increased fire danger across central and south central
Virginia and interior sections of southeast and eastern Virginia
through early evening...

The combination of low relative humidity levels of 25 to 35
percent, and strong, breezy northwest winds gusting to 25 to 35
mph, will result in elevated fire danger conditions through early
evening across central, south central, and interior sections of
eastern and southeast Virginia.

Outdoor burning is strongly discouraged through 8 pm this evening.
Exercise caution handling any potential ignition source...including
machinery... cigarettes...and matches. Be sure to properly
discard all smoking materials. Any dry grasses and tree litter
that ignite will have the potential to spread quickly.
