...BEACH HAZARDS STATEMENT NOW IN EFFECT THROUGH SUNDAY EVENING...

* WHAT...Dangerous rip currents expected.

* WHERE...In North Carolina, Eastern Currituck County. In
  Virginia, Virginia Beach.

* WHEN...Through Sunday evening.

* IMPACTS...Breaking waves of 3 to 5 ft combined with onshore
  swell will result in rough surf conditions and a high risk of
  rip currents. Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away
  from shore into deeper water.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain out of the water to avoid hazardous swimming conditions.
