THROUGH THIS EVENING...

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northeast North Carolina,
eastern Virginia and southeast Virginia.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Please listen to NOAA Weather Radio or go to weather.gov on the
Internet for more information about the following hazards.

   MODERATE RIP CURRENT RISK.

Heavy rain and a risk of flooding will accompany a slow- moving cold
front and area of low pressure late this afternoon through tonight.
In addition, there is a marginal risk for severe weather this afternoon
through the first part of tonight. There is a conditional threat of
isolated damaging wind gusts in addition to a brief spin up tornado
with the strongest storms.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
