northern and central Virginia, and central and western Maryland
with the exception of Garrett County.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for western Grant and
western Pendleton Counties in eastern West Virginia until 7am.

A Wind Advisory is in effect for Allegany County in Maryland,
Mineral, Grant and Pendleton Counties in eastern West Virginia,
and Highland County in Virginia until 10 AM today.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotters are asked to provide any snowfall or wind damage reports
per normal operating procedures.

* WHAT...West winds 20 to 25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.

* WHERE...Portions of the Potomac Highlands, as well as the Blue
  Ridge Mountains in Virginia.

* WHEN...Until 10 AM EST this morning.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects.
  Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may
  result.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high
profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.
