This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for eastern West Virginia,
northern and central Virginia, and central and western Maryland
with the exception of Garrett County.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

An isolated severe thunderstorm is possible late tonight, most
likely in central Virginia, eastern West Virginia and western
Maryland.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Isolated severe thunderstorms are possible on Thursday for the
entire area.

Winds may gust to 50 mph outside of storms during the midday and
afternoon hours Thursday. A Wind Advisory is in effect for
portions of central and northern Maryland, northern and northwest
Virginia and eastern West Virginia from 10 AM to 5 PM.

Freezing temperatures are possible Friday night north and west of
the I-95 corridor. A freeze warning may be required.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation may be needed late tonight or Thursday.

* WHAT...West winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph
  expected.

* WHERE...The District of Columbia, portions of central and
  northern Maryland, central, northern and northwest Virginia and
  eastern West Virginia.

* WHEN...From 10 AM to 5 PM EDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects.
  Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may
  result.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high
profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.
