Nearshore Atlantic and adjacent Caribbean Coastal Waters-

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the U.S. Virgin Islands and the
adjacent Coastal Waters.

.Day One...Today and Tonight

.Waves...Choppy seas of near 7 feet are possible across the offshore
Atlantic waters with up to 6 feet expected across the nearshore
Atlantic waters and local passages.

.Rip Currents...There is a high risk of rip currents across the
eastern tip of Saint Croix with a moderate risk across most of the
other beaches.

.Days Two through Seven...Saturday through Thursday

The high risk of rip currents for the eastern tip of Saint Croix as
well as the choppy seas across the Atlantic waters and local passages
will continue on Saturday. Another northeasterly swell will result in
a high risk of rip currents once again for the eastern tip of Saint
Croix late Sunday and Monday.

.Spotter information statement...

Spotter activation is not anticipated. Please relay any information
about winds, waves, and rip currents to the National Weather Service
in San Juan while following all local and state guidelines.
