...COLD WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM EST TUESDAY...

* WHAT...For the Wind Advisory, west winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts
  up to 50 mph. For the Cold Weather Advisory, very cold wind chills
  as low as 23 below expected.

* WHERE...Eastern Addison, Washington, Caledonia, Essex, Orleans,
  Eastern Chittenden, Eastern Franklin, and Lamoille Counties.

* WHEN...For the Wind Advisory, until 5 AM EST Tuesday. For the Cold
  Weather Advisory, until 11 AM EST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
  limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. The
  dangerously cold wind chills as low as 25 below zero could cause
  frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes. Frostbite
  and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin is exposed to these
  temperatures.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.

Secure outdoor objects.

Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
hat, and gloves.

Keep pets indoors as much as possible.
