...Significant rises on many area rivers and streams this week...

An atmospheric river event will continue through Wednesday.
Abundant moisture and unseasonably warm temperatures will remain
over the area through midweek.

High temperatures Tuesday will be 10 to 20 degrees above normal,
with some locations reaching the 60s.

Snow levels have risen, and will peak at over 9000 feet later today
into Tuesday before decreasing Wednesday into the latter portion of
the week.

Any precipitation that falls will fall as rain on the newly
established snowpack, creating runoff.

1 to 3 inches of rain are expected in the Washington Cascades
through Tuesday night, with an additional one half to three quarters
of an inch Tuesday night into Wednesday night.

Based on the current forecasts, the following rivers are expected to
reach or exceed action stage by midweek...

The Naches River at Cliffell
The Naches River near Naches


If rainfall ends up being higher than current forecasts, then
additional rivers could reach bankfull.
