This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Idaho and
North Central Washington.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

The next winter weather system will push into the region today
and persist into Monday. This system will produce moderate to
locally heavy snow over the mountains and passes. The threat will
begin in the Cascades this morning and spread into the Idaho
Panhandle during the afternoon. The widespread snow will turn to
showers tonight into Monday before tapering off by Monday night.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY

After lingering mountain showers on Monday a quiet break period
will envelop the region through mid week with some mountain snow
showers possible by the end of the week.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 AM PST
MONDAY FOR THE CASCADE CREST INCLUDING HIGHWAY 2 BETWEEN COLES
CORNER AND STEVENS PASS...

* WHAT...Snow expected for The Cascade Crest including Highway 2
  between Coles Corner and Stevens Pass. Mountain snow
  accumulations of 10 to 18 inches with localized amounts to 25
  inches along the Cascade crest. Snow accumulation 4 to 8 inches
  for the Upper Methow Valley and 2 to 5 inches Coles Corner
  area.

* WHERE...Mazama, Stevens Pass, and Holden Village.

* WHEN...Through 4 AM PST Monday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Slow down and use caution while traveling.
