PM PDT MONDAY...

* WHAT...Very hot temperatures.  High temperatures in the valleys 95
  to 103 Friday, 97 to 107 Saturday, near 100 to 110 Sunday and
  Monday. Lows in the mid 60s to mid 70s.

* WHERE...Portions of North and North Central Idaho and Central,
  East Central, North Central, Northeast, and Southeast Washington.

* WHEN...For the Heat Advisory, until 11 AM PDT Saturday. For the
  Excessive Heat Warning, from 11 AM Saturday to 8 PM PDT Monday.

* IMPACTS...Heat will increase the risk of heat-related illnesses,
  especially those without effective cooling or adequate hydration.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 12 PM TO 10 PM PDT SUNDAY FOR
HOT, DRY, AND UNSTABLE CONDITIONS FOR THE CENTRAL AND NORTHERN
CASCADES...

The National Weather Service in Spokane has issued a Red Flag
Warning for hot, dry, and unstable conditions, which is in effect
from 12 PM to 10 PM PDT Sunday. The Fire Weather Watch is no
longer in effect.

* Affected Area: Fire Weather Zone 696 East Washington Central
  Cascades (Zone 696), Fire Weather Zone 697 East Portion of
  North Cascades National Park/Lake Chelan National Recreation
  Area (Zone 697), Fire Weather Zone 698 East Washington North
  Cascades (Zone 698), Fire Weather Zone 704 Methow Valley (Zone
  704) and Fire Weather Zone 705 Foothills of Central Washington
  Cascades (Zone 705).

* Winds: Southeast 6 to 11 mph shifting to the northwest 8 to 14
  mph in the early evening.

* Timing: 12 PM to 10 PM

* Relative Humidities: 7 to 16 percent in the valleys and 16 to
  24 percent over the higher terrain.

* Thunderstorms: There is 10 to 15% chance for isolated
  thunderstorms Sunday evening and night. Gusty and erratic winds
  are possible with any thunderstorms that develop.

* Temperatures: Up to 108.

* Impacts: Unstable conditions could lead to plume dominated
  fires. Rapid fire spread with any new or existing fires. These
  conditions may overwhelm initial attack capabilities.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now....or will shortly. A combination of
breezy winds...low relative humidity...and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.

An Air Quality Alert has been issued by the following agencies:

Washington Department of Ecology

An Air Quality Alert, issued for all of Chelan County plus
the Methow Valley down to Brewster in Okanogan County will remain
in effect until further notice, due to expected smoke from the
Pioneer Fire and other regional wildfires. Particulate matter
(PM2.5) may reach Unhealthy and Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups
levels.

Health Impacts and Recommended Actions: When air quality is Unhealthy,
everyone should reduce exposure. Limit time outside, avoid strenuous
activity, and follow tips for cleaner indoor air. When air quality
is Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups, sensitive groups should take steps
to reduce exposure. Limit time outside, avoid strenuous outdoor
activity, and follow tips for cleaner indoor air. Everyone should
watch for symptoms as a sign to reduce exposure.

Agricultural and outdoor burning restrictions are in effect.
