...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Washington...
  Skykomish River near Gold Bar affecting Snohomish County.
  Snohomish River near Monroe affecting Snohomish County.
  Snohomish River at Snohomish affecting Snohomish County.
  Tolt River near Carnation affecting King County.
  Snoqualmie River near the Falls affecting King County.
  Snoqualmie River near Carnation affecting King County.

                Central West Region

Heavy rain over the central Cascades ended early Tuesday morning.
There was enough rain to drive the Snoqualmie River above its major
flood stage. The Tolt and Skykomish Rivers will reach moderate
flood stage. The Snohomish River is forecast to rise above flood
stage Tuesday afternoon.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive cars...vans...or trucks through flooded areas...this is
the cause of most flood related deaths in Washington. Be alert for
rapid changes and monitor developments by listening to NOAA Weather
radio or other local media.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Tolt River near Carnation
* Until this evening.
* At  4:15 AM Tuesday the flow was 6166 cfs.
* Flood flow is 5000 cfs.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue to rise and crest near 8312 cfs
  around 5 AM Tuesday. The river will fall below flood flow early
  this afternoon.
* Impact...At 5000 cfs, the Tolt River will flood Tolt River Rd NE and
  many driveways. Some homes in the San Souci area could be
  inaccessible due to deep and quick flood waters. This river level
  on the Tolt corresponds to a phase 3 flood in the King County flood
  system.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Snoqualmie River near the Falls
* Until late tonight.
* At  4:30 AM Tuesday the flow was 35495 cfs.
* Flood flow is 20000 cfs.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and Major flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue to rise and crest near 49688 cfs
  around 11 AM Tuesday. The river will fall below flood flow this
  evening.
* Impact...At 41000 cfs, the Snoqualmie River will cause major
  flooding from the town of Snoqualmie downstream through Fall
  City...inundating most of the farm land in the flood plain...some
  residential areas...and many roads. Flood waters will be deep and
  swift in some areas. Flooding will occur all along the river
  including headwaters...tributaries...and other streams within and
  near the Snoqualmie River Basin. This river level on the Snoqualmie
  corresponds roughly to a phase 4 flood in the King County flood
  system.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Snoqualmie River near Carnation
* From 4 AM Tuesday until Wednesday afternoon.
* At  4:15 AM Tuesday the stage was 53.3 feet.
* Flood stage is 54.0 feet.
* Major flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage around 4 AM
  Tuesday and crest near 59.5 feet around 5 PM Tuesday. The river
  will fall below flood stage early Wednesday morning.
* Impact...At 58.0 feet, the Snoqualmie River will cause major
  flooding from Fall City downstream through Carnation and Duvall.
  Deep and swift flood waters will inundate many farms...residential
  areas...and roads.  Flooding will occur all along the river
  including headwaters...tributaries...and other streams within and
  near the Snoqualmie River Basin.

...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH LATE TONIGHT...

The Flood Watch continues for

* Portions of northwest Washington and west central Washington,
  including the following counties, in northwest Washington,
  Mason and Whatcom. In west central Washington, King and
  Snohomish.

* Through late tonight

* Heavy rain over the Olympics and central Cascades Monday and
  Monday night caused significant flooding on area rivers. More
  flooding is still possible in some areas.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on
current forecasts.

You should monitor latest forecasts and be alert for possible
Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be
prepared to take action should flooding develop.
