...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM 1 PM PST THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH THIS
EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...A portion of west central Washington, including the
  following county, King.

* WHEN...From 1 PM PST this afternoon through this evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Runoff from heavy rainfall overnight and today in the central
    Cascades,  will push the Tolt and Snoqualmie Rivers near, and
    possibly above flood stage this evening.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood
Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
to take action should flooding develop.

...The National Weather Service in Seattle WA has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Washington...

  Tolt River Above Carnation affecting King County.

.Runoff from heavy rainfall overnight and today in the central
Cascades, will push the Tolt River up faster and higher than
previously forecast to flood stage close to noon today.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

The next statement will be issued by this evening at 600 PM PST.

...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM THIS MORNING THROUGH FRIDAY
MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Tolt River Above Carnation.

* WHEN...Until late tomorrow morning.

* IMPACTS...At 5000.0 cfs, the Tolt River will flood Tolt River Rd
  NE and many driveways. Some homes in the San Souci area could be
  inaccessible due to deep and quick flood waters. This river level
  on the Tolt corresponds to a phase 3 flood in the King County
  flood system.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:15 AM PST Thursday the flow was 4300.0 cfs.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    late this morning to a crest of 5915 cfs late this afternoon.
    It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight
    tonight.
  - Flood flow is 5000.0 cfs.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    5830.0 cfs on 11/27/1937.
