Snoqualmie Pass, Deming, Newhalem, Stevens Pass, Concrete, Lyman,
Index, Baring, Maple Falls, Darrington, and Hamilton

...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM PST THIS
AFTERNOON AT OR ABOVE ELEVATIONS GREATER THAN 3000 FT...

* WHAT...Heavy snow at or above elevations greater than 3000 ft.
  Additional snow accumulations between 6 and 12 inches. Winds
  gusting as high as 35 mph.

* WHERE...West Slopes North Cascades and Passes and West Slopes
  North Central Cascades and Passes.

* WHEN...Until 4 PM PST this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
  likely become slick and hazardous. Travel could be very difficult.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency. Prepare for possible power
outages.

Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while
driving. If you are going outside, watch your first few steps taken
on stairs, sidewalks, and driveways. These surfaces could be icy and
slippery, increasing your risk of a fall and injury.
