This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast
Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and Tonight

A wintry mix of snow, freezing rain and rain is expected to move
northeast across the Northland starting late this afternoon and
diminishing by early Tuesday morning. Snow is favored for
northern Minnesota, with a mix of rain and snow for areas along
and south of Hwy 210 in Minnesota and US 2 in Wisconsin, where a
glaze of ice accumulations are possible. Snow accumulations of 2
to 4 inches are expected from the Hinckley and Siren areas north
across the Twin Ports and up the North Shore, with lighter amounts
to the east and west. Locally higher amounts of up to 6 inches is
possible for southern Cook County.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

Light snow and drizzle may continue through early Tuesday

Snow chances return for Thursday into early Friday.


Snow spotters are requested to report precipitation type, and
measurements of snow or ice accumulations to the National
Weather Service. Spotters and the public can also report
