This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north-central and northeast
Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Hazardous travel conditions are likely to develop tonight.
Freezing drizzle is expected to develop across north-central
Wisconsin this evening, then gradually expand south and east
during the night. Untreated roads could become ice covered and
very slippery once the freezing drizzle begins.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Hazard travel conditions will likely continue on Monday into
Monday evening. The precipitation is expected to transition to
snow from northwest to southeast on Monday. Total snow
accumulations will be the highest northwest of the Fox Valley
where 2 to 5 inches of accumulation is possible. Anyone with
travel plans early next week should continue to monitor later
forecasts for snowfall amounts. A winter weather advisory has been
issued.

A blast of arctic air is expected to sweep into the region by the
middle of next week. This includes some sub-zero low temperatures
with wind chills in the double digits below zero. Wind chill
values as low as 15 below to 25 below zero are possible late
Tuesday night through Wednesday morning.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotters are requested to report any situations where freezing
drizzle or snow leads to hazardous road or sidewalk conditions to
the National Weather Service in Green Bay.

...FREEZING DRIZZLE AND ICY ROADS POSSIBLE TONIGHT INTO EARLY
MONDAY MORNING...

Shallow moisture is expected to build across the area tonight
into early Monday morning, allowing freezing drizzle to develop
across much of northeast Wisconsin. The freezing drizzle is then
expected to gradually transition to snow from northwest to
southeast from mid morning Monday through early afternoon. The
freezing drizzle is expected to remain fairly light; however, it
only takes a light glaze to cause untreated surfaces to become
very slippery.

If freezing drizzle develops tonight into Monday morning, remember
to slow down and use caution while traveling. Be sure to allow
extra time for the Monday morning commute and stay tuned to the
latest weather forecasts.
