This includes the Tribal Lands of the Lac Courte Oreilles Reservation, the Red Cliff Band, the northwestern county of the Lac du Flambeau Band, the Bad River Reservation and the St. Croix Band in Burnett County. Other locations including the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore and Madeline Island. * WHEN...Until 7 AM CDT Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - While heavy rainfall has ended, flooding and flash flooding due to runoff from recent heavy rainfall is expected to persist through this evening and into tonight. Flood advisories and flash flood warnings are in effect through this evening. Additional rainfall amounts up to one inch are expected for parts of northwest Wisconsin. Strong to severe thunderstorms are possible for parts of northwest Wisconsin, mainly in Price county, until about 10 PM. Wind gusts up to 60 mph are the main threat. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday Strong northeast winds will increase the threat of rip currents Wednesday for areas near the Twin Ports, including the beaches of Duluth and Superior. At 746 PM CDT Tuesday, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
