No severe weather is expected with the storms this morning. Thunderstorms are expected once again this evening, affecting areas from the Brainerd Lakes east through the Interstate 35 corridor and northwest Wisconsin. A few storms may be strong to severe, capable of producing hail up to one and a half inches and damaging winds. Heavy rainfall may lead to ponding or localized flash flooding. Wildfire smoke will linger today and tonight.
