There is a chance of thunderstorms from late Friday afternoon into Friday night. Some of the stronger storms could produce small hail, although a few large hail reports over an inch are possible. A wintry mix consisting of rain, freezing rain, sleet, and snow will impact the region at times from Friday night through Sunday night. Areas north and west of the Fox Valley have the highest chance of impactful snow and ice accumulations. The worst conditions are expected Saturday night and Sunday. Those with weekend travel plans should monitor the latest forecasts for this potentially impactful storm. The widespread precipitation could lead to fast flows and minor flooding along the shorelines of area rivers and streams early next week. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
