Mainly snow is expected over north-central Wisconsin, where an inch or two of accumulation is likely. Some icing could occur in a band from central through northeast Wisconsin. Even though air temperatures may be above freezing much of the night, the ground could cool to near freezing during the evening--resulting in some ice formation on untreated pavement. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Monday Hazardous travel is also possible at times late Wednesday night into Thursday evening as a strong storm system passes through the area. There is still a lot of uncertainty in the timing and expected snowfall amounts from the system, so be sure to monitor later forecasts if you have travel plans during this period. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotters are requested to report freezing rain or snowfall amounts over an inch to the National Weather Service. $$
