This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north-central and northeast

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Scattered thunderstorms are expected today into tonight. Locally
heavy rainfall is possible. In addition, a few of the storms may
produce strong wind gusts.

Dangerous swimming conditions are expected at Lake Michigan
beaches this afternoon through tonight due to currents generated
by large waves.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

Thunderstorms are possible at times Sunday into Sunday night and
again for the latter half of next week. These storms are not
expected to be severe.


Formal spotter activation is unlikely to be needed today, but
spotters are requested to report any wind gusts over 40 mph,
measured rainfalls of over an inch, or flooding.
