This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southeast
Minnesota, northeast Iowa, and southwest into central Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Drifting snow will lead to slick, snow-covered roads into this
evening. The main impacts will be seen in open and unsheltered
areas. The drifting snow threat will diminish as winds decrease
through the night.

In addition, re-freezing of melted snow could lead to slick roads
through tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

A wintry mix of precipitation could impact portions of the area
into midweek. However, at this time it remains too early to
determine possible amounts.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

No action is needed.

...Melted Snow to Refreeze Tonight and Lead to Slick Spots...

With temperatures near or below freezing across much of the area,
expect melted snow to refreeze and lead to some slick spots on
roadways and sidewalks, especially those that are untreated. In
addition, although winds have decreased, some roads may remain
partially snow-covered due to earlier drifting.

Be alert for slick spots if traveling tonight and know that roadways
that appear wet could actually be icy!
