-40 degrees. Extreme cold warnings and advisories are in effect.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

Dangerously cold Tuesday morning with wind chills as low as -30 to
-40 degrees. Extreme cold warnings and advisories are in effect.

The bitter to dangerous cold will continue for the overnight and
morning hours Wednesday through Thursday. Wind chills from -20 to
-30 are expected during these periods.

* WHERE...Adams, Juneau, Crawford, Grant, Richland, Vernon, La
  Crosse, and Monroe Counties.

* WHEN...Until 10 AM CST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 35 below zero
  could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 10 minutes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
