This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of east central
Wisconsin, south central Wisconsin and southeast Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

An area of thunderstorms into the overnight hours may produce
heavy rainfall and localized flash flooding, mainly southwest of
Madison. Minor flooding in low lying and urban areas may result.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Monday

There are chances for thunderstorms at times Tuesday through
Thursday, with heavy rainfall possible.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed, but rainfall and flooding
reports will be appreciated.

...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1215 AM CDT TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of south central Wisconsin, including the
  following counties, Dane, Green, Iowa, Lafayette and Rock.

* WHEN...Until 1215 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Water over some roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 915 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream
    flooding. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Fitchburg, Stoughton, Monroe, Oregon, Evansville, Darlington,
    Belleville, New Glarus, Brooklyn, Shullsburg, Monticello,
    Albany, Belmont, Benton, Argyle, Blanchardville, Wiota,
    Dayton, New Diggings and South Wayne.

...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1130 PM CDT THIS
EVENING FOR WEST CENTRAL DANE AND SOUTHERN IOWA COUNTIES...

At 905 PM CDT, local law enforcement reported flooded county roads
just outside of Mineral Point. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have
fallen across southern Iowa County into far western Dane County.
Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the
warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
         highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
         drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Mount Horeb, Dodgeville, Mineral Point, Barneveld, Blue Mounds,
  Ridgeway, Linden, Rewey, Jonesdale, London and Blue Mound St Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
