...WEEKEND RAIN TO BRING PONDING OF WATER AND RISING RIVERS...

Several rounds of rain from tonight through Sunday will add up to
three quarters to one and one quarter inch of rain across all of
southern Wisconsin. Higher amounts are possible in localized areas.
With already-saturated soil conditions, any additional rain may lead
to ponding of water in ditches, urban areas, and other low lying
areas. Several rivers are above minor flood stage and several more
will rise above flood stage over the weekend.

Residents who live in low-lying urban areas or near rivers and
streams should closely monitor water levels in upcoming days, and be
prepared to seek higher ground if flooding becomes imminent.
