...Cold Weather Advisories are Posted for Much of the Region Through
10 AM MST Tuesday...

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Western and Central Wyoming.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Dangerously cold temperatures this morning across nearly all of the
Cowboy State. Morning lows for most locations will range from 10
below to 20 below. Some locations due to clearing skies and freshly
fallen snow may see temperatures colder than 20 below. Temperatures
struggle to warm during the day today even with mostly clear skies.
High temperatures today will be well below normal ranging from the
single digits to sub-zero values. Another dangerously cold night is
forecast for much of the state Monday night. Clear skies and fresh
snow pack may lead to some of the coldest temperatures so far this
year in locations such as the Wind River Basin. Other locations may
see slightly milder temperatures but gustier winds, leading to wind
chill values of 20 to 30 below zero.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Tuesday...Gusty southwest wind steadily increases late Monday night
into Tuesday across mainly central Wyoming and the mountains. This
will enable warmer daytime highs as the coldest air begins to shift
east of the state. The wind could lead to areas of blowing snow
across central Wyoming, mainly Natrona County.

Wednesday and Thursday...An unsettled weather pattern returns. Light
snow would be favored across the northwest and northern mountains in
this pattern. Temperatures remain below normal.

Friday and Saturday...It will be a tad warmer Friday, before
temperatures cool Saturday behind another weather system. This system
produces the next best chance of widespread light snow.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Weather spotters are encouraged to report significant weather
conditions according to Standard Operating Procedures.
