Another day of scattered showers and thunderstorms with the highest likelihood (40-70%) being across northern WY. Central WY may see some showers and thunderstorms as well but with chances only around 30-50%. Higher elevations of northern WY that are above 8000 may see snow showers periodically throughout the day. These showers may be moderate to heavy at times possibly able to put down a quick accumulation of snow. Locations along the Absaroka, Wind River, and Bighorn Ranges as well as YNP may see a few inches of accumulating snow as a result of these showers. Travel along Granite, Powder River, and Togwotee Passes may be difficult at times along with parts of the eastern entrance to YNP. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday. Wednesday...Isolated showers linger across northern WY but the main concern will be warming temperatures along with drying conditions and gusty winds. These may lead to elevated fire weather concerns especially across parts of southern WY. Thursday through Monday...Daily chances for showers and thunderstorms with the potential for a more impactful system over the weekend. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Weather spotters are encouraged to report significant weather conditions according to Standard Operating Procedures. $$
