...Red Flag Warning in effect this afternoon and evening for
portions of Johnson and Natrona Counties, the Absaroka and the
Wind River Mountains...

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Western and Central
Wyoming.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Near-record setting high temperatures continue today. Elevated to
critical fire weather conditions will be present this afternoon
and evening for much of the area, especially over central and
southwest Wyoming.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Scattered afternoon and evening thunderstorms are possible with a
cold front on Sunday. Above average temperatures and fire weather
concerns return Tuesday through Thursday, with isolated to
scattered thunderstorms also possible.

Spotter activation will not be needed.

...RED FLAG WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM NOON TODAY TO 8 PM MDT
THIS EVENING...

* IMPACTS: Low Humidities...Unseasonably Warm Temperatures...and
  Strong Gusty Winds will create erratic fire behavior and new
  fire starts.

* AFFECTED AREA:
  In Central WY Fire Zones...280...300.
  In North Central WY Fire Zone....281.

* COUNTIES AFFECTED:
  In Central WY...Natrona.
  In North Central WY...Johnson.

* WIND: Northwest 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.

* HUMIDITY: As low as 9 percent.

* TEMPERATURES: Highs around 90.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are
either occurring now....or will shortly. A combination of strong
winds...low relative humidity...and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
