Central Wyoming...

...Winter Weather Advisory 6 PM Today through 12 Noon Tuesday for
the Teton, Gros Ventre and Wind River Mountains...

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Western and Central Wyoming.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

High winds are likely across the wind corridor from Rock Springs
to Casper as well as the Lander Foothills.

Significant snow is expected tonight over the Wind River
Mountains, and the Teton and Gros Ventre Mountains

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Tuesday...The bulk of this fall storm will gradually end from west
to east.

Wednesday...Gusty west to northwest winds of 30 to 40 mph likely
across much of the area.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.

Including the cities of Jeffrey City, Casper, and Wamsutter

...HIGH WIND WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 9 AM THIS MORNING TO
9 PM MDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...South to southwest winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to
  60 mph expected. Locally gusts to 70 mph on the south side of
  Casper.

* WHERE...East Sweetwater County, Green Mountains and Rattlesnake
  Range and Natrona County Lower Elevations. This includes
  Interstate 25, and Interstate 80.

* WHEN...From 9 AM this morning to 9 PM this evening.

* IMPACTS...Mainly to transportation. Strong winds will enhance
  the blowover risk for lightweight and high-profile vehicles,
  including campers and tractor trailers.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Please keep two hands on the steering wheel
  in case of sudden, very strong wind gust.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Use caution if you must drive. In a parking lot, park into the
wind to minimize the possibility of your car door hitting another
parked vehicle.
