...October Snowstorm and Bitter Cold Temperatures...

.A strong weather system will continue to impact the area
tonight, gradually ending on Sunday. Heaviest snowfall amounts
will be tonight, with very light snow lingering after sunrise
Sunday morning. Bitter cold temperatures will be in place by late
tonight through Sunday night.

Green Mountains and Rattlesnake Range-
Natrona County Lower Elevations-
Including the cities of Jeffrey City and Casper

* WHAT...Periods of Snow. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 4
  inches. Winds gusting as high as 30 mph.

* WHERE...Green Mountains and Rattlesnake Range and Natrona
  County Lower Elevations.

* WHEN...Until 9 AM MDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult due to slick road
  conditions, as well as blowing and drifting snow. This
  includes Interstate 25, Highway 220, Highway 20 26, and
  Highway 789.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Wind chill values will be below zero
  tonight in parts of the area. Outdoor enthusiasts should be
  prepared for winter conditions.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Western and Central Wyoming.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Snow will occur over the mountains and most of the far west today
and tonight. Snow will increase over the north and central today
and spread into the south and southwest tonight. Much colder air
will spread from north to south today and tonight. Some drifting
and blowing snow will occur creating travel hazards. Very cold
tonight with bitter cold wind chill values.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Sunday...Lingering light snow along with very cold temperatures.

Monday...Still unseasonably cold over the area.
