This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Western and Central
Wyoming.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms for
all but southern and southwestern portions. Locally heavy rain
will be the main threat.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Thursday...Isolated thunderstorms in the mountains and over
northern portions by late afternoon into the evening. Some storms
could be strong to severe.

Friday...Scattered showers and thunderstorms, especially northern
and central areas.

Saturday...A chance of thunderstorms west and north sections with
a few strong storms possible.

Saturday Night through Sunday night...Scattered to numerous
showers and thunderstorms with heavy rain possible in Central
Wyoming, especially in Fremont, Natrona. Southern Park and Hot
Springs Counties where one to two inches of rain is possible.

...THE HYDROLOGIC ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 945 AM MDT FRIDAY
FOR SOUTH CENTRAL SUBLETTE AND EAST CENTRAL LINCOLN COUNTIES...

At 6 PM Wednesday, the Green River near La Barge was at 9.1 feet.
Flood stage is 9.0 feet. The river is expected to crest between 9.2
and 9.3 feet by midday Thursday.  At 9 feet, nearby homes begin to
see high water. Fields south of La Barge around the gaging station
have ponded water of less than 1 foot deep.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
