southeast Wyoming.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected this afternoon
with locally heavy rainfall and gusty winds possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY

Critical fire weather conditions are expected for most of the area
on Thursday with strong winds gusting 40 to 50 MPH. Red Flag
Warnings are in effect.

...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM NOON TO 8 PM MDT THURSDAY FOR
STRONG GUSTY WINDS AND LOW HUMIDITY FOR FOR MOST OF SOUTHEAST
WYOMING AND WESTERN NEBRASKA...

The National Weather Service in Cheyenne has issued a Red Flag
Warning, which is in effect from noon to 8 PM MDT Thursday. The
Fire Weather Watch has been upgraded.

* AFFECTED AREA...Most of Southeast Wyoming and Western Nebraska
  including fire weather zones 417 through 423, 425, 427 through
  433, and 435 through 437.

* WIND...South to southwest winds 20 to 30 MPH with gusts of 40 to
  50 MPH possible.

* HUMIDITY...10 to 15 percent.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
  Outdoor burning is not recommended.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
