...HIGH WIND WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM MST THIS
EVENING...

* WHAT...West winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 65 mph
  expected.

* WHERE...East Platte County, Laramie Valley and Central Laramie
  County Counties including the cities of Cheyenne, Laramie, and
  Wheatland.

* WHEN...Until 8 PM MST Friday. After a brief lull tonight, winds
  are expected to increase once again late Saturday morning and
  continue through early Saturday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Mainly to transportation. Strong cross winds will be
  hazardous to light weight and high profile vehicles, including
  campers and tractor trailers. There will be an extreme risk
  for vehicle blow overs. Patchy blowing snow may reduce
  visibilities at times.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A High Wind Warning means a hazardous high wind event is expected
or occurring. Sustained wind speeds of at least 40 mph or gusts of
58 mph or more can lead to property damage and travel difficulties.

This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of south central
Wyoming and southeast Wyoming.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

High winds spread to the Laramie Valley, Laramie Range, and the
Interstate 25 corridor between Cheyenne and Wheatland this morning.
Highest winds can be expected during the day and ending by
tonight for everywhere except Arlington and Bordeaux.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

High winds expected to continue along the Interstate 80 corridor
for areas near Arlington through Saturday morning. Possible high
wind event for the Interstate 25 corridor near Bordeaux in the
early afternoon and lasting a few hours on Saturday.
