MORNING...
...HIGH WIND WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM MST THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...For the Cold Weather Advisory, very cold temperatures as
  low as 18 below. For the High Wind Warning, west winds 25 to 35
  mph with gusts up to 60 mph expected.

* WHERE...Central Laramie County and East Platte County.

* WHEN...For the Cold Weather Advisory, until 11 AM MST this
  morning. For the High Wind Warning, until 8 PM MST this evening.

* IMPACTS...Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin
  is exposed to these temperatures. Mainly to transportation. Strong
  cross winds will be hazardous to light weight or high profile
  vehicles, including campers and tractor trailers.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Keep pets indoors as much as possible.

Make sure outdoor animals have a warm, dry shelter, food, and
unfrozen water.

A High Wind Warning means a hazardous high wind event is expected or
occurring. Sustained wind speeds of at least 40 MPH or gusts of 58
MPH or stronger can lead to property damage.

This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of south central
Wyoming and southeast Wyoming.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

Extreme Cold Warnings will continue today and tonight with wind
chills of 30 below to 45 below zero.

Westerly winds will begin to increase late this evening,
especially across the wind prone areas of southeast Wyoming. High
Wind Watches and Warnings have been issued for gusts around 60
MPH.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY

Extreme Cold Warnings remain in effect for southeast Wyoming and
until late Tuesday morning. Wind chills of 25 below to 35 below
zero are expected.

High Wind Warnings and Watches continue through Tuesday and
Tuesday night. Gusts between 60 to 75 MPH are possible, strongest
winds in the wind prone areas.
