This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North and Central Georgia.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight...

Scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop across western
portions of the forecast area this afternoon. The coverage of this
activity will increase into the evening and overnight hours as it
spreads across the reminder of the area. Isolated storms could be
locally severe with damaging winds the primary concern although
locally heavy rainfall will create hazardous travel conditions.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday...

The shower and thunderstorm activity will clear the area on
Tuesday morning.

Thunderstorms are once again possible over the weekend as as
second frontal system moves through the southeast states.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.

...PATCHY DENSE FOG POSSIBLE ACROSS PORTIONS OF NORTH AND CENTRAL
GEORGIA THROUGH LATE MORNING...

Patchy dense fog has developed over portions of northern and
central Georgia, especially across the valleys in the north
Georgia mountains. Visibilities could be reduced to a quarter of a
mile or less at times.

If driving, using extra caution, slow down, increase the
distance between your vehicle and the one in front of you, and use
your low-beam headlights if you encounter reduced visibilities.
Fog is expected to clear by late morning.
