...LAKE WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 2 AM EDT SUNDAY...

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Midlands of South Carolina
and the Central Savannah River area of Georgia.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Please listen to NOAA Weather Radio or go to weather.gov on the
Internet for more information about the following hazard.

   Lake Wind Advisory.

Rainfall of 1 to 3 inches is forecast today and tonight. Most likely,
rainfall rates will not be excessive. However, it is possible a few
locations will experience localized flooding.

There will probably not be enough instability for tornadoes despite
very strong wind aloft. However, the tornado chance is not zero
especially in parts of the eastern Midlands.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

There is a low probability for widespread hazardous weather.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.

* WINDS...Northeast 15 to 25 knots.

* TIMING...Through late tonight.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds and rough waves on area lakes will
  create hazardous conditions for small craft.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Lake Wind Advisory indicates that winds will cause rough chop
on area lakes. Small boats will be especially prone to capsizing.
