This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North and Central Georgia.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight...

There is a chance for some wintry weather across portions of
north Georgia this evening into early Thursday morning with the
potential for rain showers transitioning to snow showers as
cooler temperatures move into the area. Any accumulations will be
confined to areas above 2000 feet with up to half an inch possible,
generally in the highest elevations.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday...

There is another chance for wintry weather across portions of
northern Georgia Friday night into Saturday. Some light
accumulations may be possible across far northern Georgia, but
interested parties should continue to monitor the forecast for
updates.

There is a chance for thunderstorms on Monday through Tuesday.

...Flood Warning extended until Saturday morning...The Flood Warning
continues for
  The Oconee River near Oconee.
* Until Saturday morning.
* At 10 AM Wednesday the stage was 17.9 feet...and rising.
* Minor flooding is occurring and is forecast to continue.
* Flood stage is 17 feet.
* The river will continue rising to near 20.0 feet by Thursday
  morning. The river will fall below flood stage Saturday morning.
* At 21 feet...Moderate flooding begins. The dirt parking lot by
  the Old Balls Ferry Road boat ramp is under one to three feet of
  water. The end of Old Balls Ferry Road begins to flood. Flooding
  continues and spreads further into the woodlands near the river.

Warning continues for
  The Oconee River near Dublin.
* Until Saturday afternoon.
* At 9 AM Wednesday the stage was 22.3 feet...and falling.
* Minor flooding is occurring and is forecast to continue.
* Flood stage is 21 feet.
* The river will continue to fall to below flood stage by late
  Saturday morning.
* At 22 feet...Minor flooding continues in the woodlands and
  natural flood plain along the river upstream and downstream from
  the gage on U.S. Highway 80. Portions of some dirt river access
  roads will begin to flood.
