Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are possible this afternoon and evening. Locally heavy rainfall and frequent lightning are possible in any storms that form. A few storms could become strong and capable of producing gusty to strong winds. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday... Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are possible during the afternoon and evening Thursday, and may linger overnight into Friday. A few storms may become strong to severe and capable of producing gusty to damaging winds and large hail. Locally heavy rainfall and frequent lightning are possible in any storms that form. Widespread severe weather is not expected at this time. Scattered thunderstorms will be possible once again Sunday through Tuesday, with the highest chances in the afternoon each day. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation is not requested but spotters are encouraged to submit reports of severe weather through the web by going to weather.gov/atlanta.
