This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the lower Piedmont of northeast
Georgia, Upstate South Carolina, and North Carolina, including the
Charlotte Metro Area.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms embedded within intermittent
rain showers will affect the region through late day. The coverage
and strength of the thunderstorms will likely increase late this
afternoon into the early evening hours across the Piedmont. Any of
the thunderstorms may produce dangerous cloud-to-ground lighting and
locally heavy rainfall. The late afternoon thunderstorms could also
produce very gusty winds, and a few severe thunderstorms are
possible, especially from Monroe, North Carolina to Chester to
Greenwood in South Carolina.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.


Spotters are requested to forward any reports of large hail,
damaging winds, tornadoes, or flash flooding to our office.
