Heavy Rain and Flash Flooding Possible Lower Mississippi and Tennessee Valleys

Moisture from the Gulf of Mexico will bring heavy rain, strong thunderstorms and the risk of flash flooding to the central Gulf Coast today. A band of snow associated with a cold front will impact central Texas to Oklahoma. Another cold front will spread snow across the interior Northwest. Unusually cold weather will continue in California and the Desert Southwest.
