Strong to severe thunderstorms with heavy rain to continue across the central and southern Plains

Periods of strong to severe thunderstorms will continue across a wide area of the central to southern Plains through Friday. Locally heavy rain can be expected over saturated ground, with areas of flooding and flash flooding.
