Synopsis...HIGH PRESSURE EAST OF NEW ENGLAND WILL SLOWLY MOVE FURTHER OFFSHORE TODAY. A COLD FRONT APPROACHES FROM THE WEST TONIGHT AND CROSSES THE WATERS LATE TUESDAY AND TUESDAY NIGHT. HIGH PRESSURE BUILDS IN FROM THE WEST ON WEDNESDAY, THEN A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM TRACKS SOUTH OF LONG ISLAND THURSDAY INTO THURSDAY NIGHT. HIGH PRESSURE RETURNS ON FRIDAY.

Today: Variable winds less than 5 kt becoming SSE 5 to 8 kt in the morning. Sunny. Seas around 1 ft.

Tonight: S wind 5 to 8 kt becoming variable and less than 5 kt after midnight. Clear. Seas around 1 ft.

Saturday: Variable winds less than 5 kt becoming SSW 5 to 10 kt in the morning. Sunny. Seas around 1 ft.

Saturday Night: SSW wind 7 to 9 kt. A chance of showers after 2am. Seas around 1 ft.

Sunday: SSW wind 8 to 11 kt. A chance of showers before 8am. Seas around 1 ft.
