Unseasonably Cool in the Ohio Valley and Northeast to Begin the Holiday Weekend

A strong cold front has dropped temperatures sharply across the Ohio Valley and Northeast. Temperatures will be 10-20 degrees below normal through Saturday, with gusty winds and showers. A large part of the Ohio Valley and Northeast will see freezing temperatures Friday night into Saturday morning. Saturday Patchy fog before 11am. Otherwise, cloudy through mid morning, then gradual clearing, with a high near 63. Light north wind becoming west northwest 10 to 15 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 25 mph.
