.DISCUSSION...High pressure is building southward across the
region today. The net result should be a dry and cool day on
north-component 5 to 15 mph winds. Initially this morning, the
wind is expected to be light from the northwest, generally less
than 10 mph. But by noon CDT, winds should become north at more
like 10 to 15 mph. Minimum relative humidity today should drop to
close to 40 percent.

Overnight, winds shift around and become more southeasterly in
direction. While maintaining a southeast direction on Wednesday,
wind speed should increase by early afternoon to something more
like 20 to 30 mph with gusts as high as 40 mph.
