...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN PERQUIMANS AND
SOUTHEASTERN CHOWAN COUNTIES THROUGH 445 PM EDT...

At 408 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Burgess, or near Hertford. This thunderstorm was nearly stationary.

HAZARD...Half inch hail and heavy rain.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Reduced
         visibility and minor flooding possible.

Locations impacted include...
Hertford, Burgess, Snug Harbor, Holiday Island, Light Nixon Fork,
Drummond Point, Saint Johns, Yeopim Station, Harvey Point, Somerset,
and Forestburg.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
