A weak system is moving across the Northern Plains today,
bringing a chance for showers and a few thunderstorms to the
Dakotas. Highs today across the region will range from the mid 60s
along the International Border to the mid 80s in western South
Dakota. Lows tonight are forecast from the mid 40s across the
north to the lower to mid 50s south.

Mostly dry weather is then expected across the region for the
remainder of the weekend, with slight chances for showers across
the northeast on Saturday, and across the east on Sunday. Near to
slightly below normal temperatures in the 60s and 70s are in
store Saturday through Monday. Precipitation chances increase on
Monday before a warmup begins on Tuesday, with above average
temperatures expected midweek across the region.
